Learning Resource Centre and Library

We have a wide range of resources available to students in the Learning Resource Centre, located on the ground floor. Here, students can borrow books for up to two weeks, read in the reading nook, study in the quiet study space, and borrow laptops for homework.

Resources include:

  • A large selection of fiction books (including a selection appropriate for older students)
  • Non-fiction books
  • Study guides for all subjects
  • Pathways guides (higher and further education, apprenticeships and careers advice)
  • Dictionaries and thesauruses
  • Periodicals including The New Scientist, National Geographic, The Week, The Week Junior, First News
  • The Times and The Guardian newspapers every day
  • Fiction books for those with dyslexia and a range of reading abilities

School Library Catalogue

Students are able to browse all the books available to borrow in the school library on Libresoft. In addition to browsing, they can also reserve books for collection and write reviews on the books they have read.

To log in, students should use the link below, followed by the 4 digit bar code on their library card, and the password provided on their welcome email.
