7APR

Hello to the new students of 7APR!

I'm Mrs. Pearce, your new Form Tutor for the journey through Years 7 to 11.  I am the Subject Leader of Drama and I’m now thrilled to embark on this new adventure with all of you.

Form tutoring is something that I really enjoy doing, and I can't wait to get to know each and every one of you, witnessing all the amazing things you'll bring to our Form. While bidding farewell to my wonderful Year 11s is bittersweet, I'm overflowing with excitement to kick off this next chapter with you all.

And oh, can you imagine the joy of celebrating your successes together at your Year 11 prom in five years' time? It's going to be an incredible journey, filled with growth, laughter, and memories to cherish.

Here's to the amazing times ahead, 7PR!

Hello to all the new students of 7CEV.

I'm Mrs Evans, your new Form Tutor for the next five years of your exciting new journey at Monmouth Comprehensive School.

I teach International Languages and Welsh across the school and look forward to also teaching you in either of these subjects as well as being your tutor.

I have been teaching at the school since 2017 and you will be the second Form group that I take all the way through to Year 11. I look forward to getting to know you all and becoming the best Form group yet!

See you soon and I can’t wait to start our adventure together in September.

Welcome/Croeso

My name is Mrs Smith and I will be your Form Tutor when you join Monmouth Comprehensive School in September.

I look forward to getting to know you and seeing what gifts and skills you can bring to MCS!

Joining a new school, especially one much larger than your primary school, can be daunting, and my role will be to help you to settle in and get used to the new routines and expectations of secondary school. I will be there to check in on your wellbeing and academic progress during your first year at MSC, and beyond!

I am a science teacher and joined MSC last year – so I have just been through the settling in period you are about to start! Outside school, I love hiking, cycling, sewing and cooking.

I am excited to start this new adventure with you in September – remember to come prepared to face exciting challenges and make fantastic memories!

Enjoy the summer and see you soon,

Mrs Smith

Croseo/Welcome.

My name is Mr Smith and I'll be your Form Tutor when you join MCS in September.

I am a Maths teacher at MCS and I'm new too, so it'll be exciting for us to learn our way around a new school together.

My job at school is to help you settle in and make sure that everything goes as smoothly for you as possible while you adjust to learning in a new school.

I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you and getting to know you all, as we have a fantastic time at school together.

Hello!

My name is Mrs Rosser. I will be your Form Tutor when you join Monmouth Comprehensive School in September.

It’s a really exciting time, and whilst joining ‘big school’ can feel a little overwhelming at times,  I’m here to support you all the way!

I’ll be here to help you settle in, support you in your wellbeing and academic progress, and be there to guide you throughout your time at MCS.

I’m an Art teacher and Head of Department, and have taught at MCS for 13 years. I love my job and sharing my love of creativity with students makes it so special. Outside school I love to be outdoors with my family and dog. In the holidays I’m usually somewhere beachy, camping in my van and painting whenever I can.

I’m so looking forward to meeting you all and getting to know you. I can’t wait for us to begin 7KRS’s journey together.

See you soon!

Mrs Rosser

Welcome, Croeso, Bienvenue, Willkommen, Bienvenidos!

My name is Mrs Banyai and as you might have guessed, I teach International Languages.

This will be my 7th year here at MCS and I have had two different Forms before you. I cannot wait for us to all meet and get to know each other.

Our Form will be a really important part of your MCS experience. Your classes for your subjects will change each year, but we will be together as a Form for the whole five years, up to Year 11, so it is really important to me that we are kind to one another and that we trust, support and respect each other.

I hope you have an amazing summer holidays - see you in September.

Mrs Banyai

Welcome / Croeso

My name is Mr Oldale and I will be your Form Tutor when you join Monmouth Comprehensive School in September. I am very excited to meet you all.

Just like you, I will be new to the school. As we enter this new chapter of our lives together, my role as your Form Tutor will be to support every one of you through both academic and personal challenges, whilst creating an inclusive environment in our Form class.

I am a very passionate science teacher who loves finding new ways to engage students in this fascinating subject.

In my spare time, I enjoy mountain hiking, beach walks with my dogs, Freddie and Dennis, playing darts, and I am a huge football fan. You will find me working with a range of sports clubs/teams throughout the school. I hope to see many of you getting involved in the extra-curricular activities that MCS has to offer.

We are going to be a team for a very long time. We need to always look out for each other, always be kind, always be patient, and try our absolute best each day. If we can follow these principles, we are going to make a lot of special memories together.

Enjoy your summer and I will see you soon,

Mr Oldale
