OPEN EVENING AT MCS

Our Opening Evening takes place on Thursday 21st October, 5 - 7 pm.

We are delighted to invite you to visit our school to find out more about how we enable our students to lead happy and successful lives.

We are an inclusive community school, rooted in shared values and determined to enable all of our students to fulfil their potential.

As well as a presentation from the Headteacher and from our students (at 5.30pm and 6.30pm), you will have the opportunity to tour our magnificent school building, to visit specialist subject areas and to speak to our staff and students about life at MCS.

Our Open Evening will be Covid-secure and relevant risk assessments are in place.  Please do not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid, or if you test positive before the event.

Please note that parking is limited on our site.

Y11 PARENTS' EVENING

23/9/2021

Year 11 Parents' Evening takes place on Thursday 23rd September.
 
To make your appointment on School Cloud, our video conferencing facility, please click on the link below and complete the required details to access the system.  Appointments will be made on a first come first basis but if a teacher becomes full, you will have the option to join a waiting list.  You will be able to book your appointments from 6pm on Thursday 16th September.

This guidance also explains how to invite a second parent, at a different location if required, to join the discussion.

VACANCY AT MCS

MCS is seeking to recruit a Schools Desktop Support Analyst.  Based in school, this role will be part of an established SRS Education Service, which covers schools across Monmouthshire, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent and Newport. The role is of a technical nature covering desktop support but also requires excellent communication skills to liaise with schools providing support and advice.

Please click HERE to confirm your place in our Sixth Form, or to request a call back if you require advice regarding your results, or to let us know the details of your alternative post 16 destination.
